There are opportunities for law students to do valuable pro bono work with Legal Services of New Jersey. Law students function as law clerks and are assigned to do research and draft memos and pleadings. Also, students who are certified by their law schools as having completed the second year may practice as attorneys and go to court under the supervision of a Legal Services attorney. Contact LSNJ for more information on how you can get started.
