As of April 30, 2024, LSNJ has been renewed as an Accredited/Approved Service Provider for NJ Continuing Legal Education. This means that this training or other event has been (presumptively) approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court for 1.5 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 0.0 qualify as total hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, including 0.0 hours in diversity inclusion, and elimination of bias.
PLEASE NOTE: For live, in-person training events, LSNJ deducts credits if a participant arrives late or leaves early. We use a rounding system so if you miss from 1 to 25 minutes of instruction time, we subtract .5 credit. If you miss between 26 and 50 minutes of instruction time, we subtract 1.0 credit and so on. For webinar events no partial credit will be given.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Even with a grant of presumptive credit, it is possible that the Board on CLE can issue a “disapproval” of NJ CLE credits for this event. LSNJ works hard to ensure full compliance with all BCLE Regulations to minimize such a possibility. However, if any event sponsored by LSNJ receives a “disapproval” of NJ CLE credits, all attorneys who attended the event will immediately be notified via e-mail. LSNJ will also likely appeal any such “disapproval.” See BCLE Regulations 302:4, 302:5, 302:6 and 302.10.
NJ BOARD ON CLE REGULATIONS CAN BE FOUND ON THE NJ JUDICIARY WEB SITE AT: https://www.njcourts.gov/sites/default/files/attorneys/continuing-legal-education/cleregs_0.pdf and https://www.njcourts.gov/sites/default/files/notices/2023/10/n231024c.pdf (Amendments effective 1/24)
